Hinton Human Capital, an emerging leader in executive search and staffing in Green, Environmental and Infrastructure industries is now searching for a Business Development Leader for an established national engineering firm in one of the following locations: Atlanta, Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland or other locations. Ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of demonstrated business development experience in government and private sector plus the following skills and abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing and developing business in one or more of the following areas: environmental remediation, environmental consulting, construction management on a national level.
  • Ability to leverage or develop relationships with DOD, DOE, GSA and other federal , state government and utilities into project work for the firm.
  • Ability to work with management on strategic pursuits and client capture plans including proposal development.

Requirements

BS degree in engineering, construction or related field

Must have at least 15 years of business development experience in the civil engineering/construction field

Master’s or MBA is a strong plus

PE, CHMM, REM, CCM, LEED or other professional registrations/certifications are a strong plus

Prior military experience is a strong plus

Urgent Job Opportunity: CAD Designer-Water/wastewater

Hinton Human Capital, an emerging leader in Green, Environmental and Infrastructure search is currently seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater CAD Designer to work on a major water/wastewater pipeline rehabilitation and pump station projects on hourly contract basis. The ideal candidates must have the following experience and skills:

  • A minimum of 4 years of recent CAD design experience of water/wastewater infrastructure. Pipeline projects ranging from 8” to 108” diameter lines and pumpstations (mechanical and Piping)
  • Demonstrated experience in using the latest versions of AutoCAD and other design packages.
  • Candidates must be able to meet hard deadlines and be able to complete multiple activities.

Requirements

Minimum Associates degree or formal CAD training and experience is required

This is a contract to permanent position in Fairfax, VA or Baltimore, MD

Senior Wastewater Construction Manager

The ideal candidates must have the following experience and skills:

  • A minimum of 10 years of recent and consecutive experience in the construction of wastewater plants and /or water infrastructure
  • Demonstrated construction management experience in directing the work of teams in the field meeting deadlines and budgets managing multiple activities
  • Ability to resolve scheduling conflicts and construction related problems

Requirements

BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Construction management is required

Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification is required

Knowledge of scheduling software is a strong plus

Knowledge and experience in design build process is a plus

Excellent oral and written communication skills required

Senior Wastewater Engineer/Project Manager

Hinton Human Capital, an emerging leader in executive search in Climate Change, Environmental and Infrastructure industries is now searching for a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer for a national engineering consulting firm. Ideal candidate will have at least 5 -10 years of demonstrated experience in the planning and design of municipal water/wastewater pump stations, pipelines and other wastewater infrastructure plus the following skills and abilities:

  • Oversee water/wastewater engineering staff  in design/production of construction documents, project task management, cost estimating, report generation, and other related engineering tasks.
  • Ensure documents meet client needs and quality control standards
  • Coordinate design efforts with other technical dsiciplines

Specific Requirements

BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering with water/wastewater emphasis from ABET accredited program is required

5-10 years of related consulting experience

Knowledge of design packages such as Auto Cad 3D or Microstation are a strong plus

Ability to acquire PE in the State of Virginia is required

PMP, LEED or other certification in addition to PE is a plus
