Engineering has myriad career opportunities opening every day. The major problem is there are not enough graduates to fill the new positions coming available. National Engineers Week Foundation, in conjunction with its sponsors, is holding a large number of special events across the country to introduce young women and girls to the engineering professions.

The ideal candidates must have 5 to 10 years of experience designing industrial waste water treatment systems plus the following experience and skills:

 Job Description

  • Demonstrated experience designing industrial primary/pre-treatment wastewater treatment systems for manufacturing, energy and/or agricultural applications (chemical & mechanical process)
  • Experience with working with business development to prepare proposals and estimates
  • Experience managing and coordinating activities of mid level engineers and CAD technicians
  • Ability to communicate with clients on technical issues
  • Experience designing waste-to-energy (biogas) plants is a strong plus

Qualifications

  • Master’s in Civil, Environmental or Chemical engineering required
  • PhD is a strong plus
  • PE/EIT license is required
  • Waterwater treatment operator experience is a strong plus
